Tibidabo + Bikes galore

A church atop a hill. and an amusement park next door. Tibidabo is very high up > 500m and you can see the whole of Barcelona from there.

pity we were there too early and the sun was very bright - so not all nice pics cos of the glare and shadow - but it was also too foggy to see very far.

the furnicular up isnt very scenic - renting a car and driving up is much nicer.

we took the 2 euro lift to the top of the church .. n climbed the staircase the rest of the way. nice view but a lil scary cos of the height. it was windy

and COLD !

saw ALOT of roadies today- my cheap thrill for the day.
Orbea, Look, Speciallized, Argon, Trek, Cervelo, Nishikin ? ,

I miss riding my bike =( .

You would have liked the hill . it starts off gentle, then gets very windy. alil like Penang - not sure if its steeper or not - but its uber long -- took forever to reach the top
the downhill was quite scary - two very sharp hairpins = as bad as Penang. but u'll love it. there were alot of cyclists up there - both roadies n mtb - i guess this is where the spanish go to cycle outside of the congested city.

didnt feel like going to Nou Camp - too cold n tired.
came home for a simple maggi mee - miss the maggi mee with luncheon meat u used to make for me. its not the same when ur maggi mee is supposed to be for mee goreng =p. and u have ham instead of luncheon meat.
2.50 euro for a tart for my indulgence- should hav just bought the snack from kfc which would have destroyed my throat haha.
