Reached Barcelona airport a little later than expected - cleared immigration n picked up luggage quite smoothly. Had to get to Terminal B to meet Denise, but was pretty fast.
It was snowing in Milan when we stopped over in transit - -7 deg out. v cool to see snow =)
Managed to get a cab - its amazing how all 3 of us managed to fit into the taxi with our baggage - to our apartment for about 30 euros.
Very quiet streets - cos its a public holiday today ! Epiphany !
Saw two cyclists from the airport - road cyclists i think - was too quick to catch them. saw another 2 along the way to the apartment - but no fancy bikes yet !
its cold - 7 deg out and dropping - and raining ! it hailed earlier this afternoon - the raindrops turned to ice quite quickly.
lunch cum dinner was at a sushi buffet nearby - expensive (almost double the price cos of the public hol)- but one of the few that was open -- run by chinese..
internet at our apartment isnt working - so am at a friend's place blogging now - hopefully the agent can fix our router probs tomw !!
